Chevrolet Camaro Synergy Series

Chevy will release every year a special-edition Camaro, the Synergy Series. The Synergy Series debuts at SEMA 2010 showcasing a model of the special edition of the Synergy Series that will be made available to consumers for the first six months of 2011.

Chevrolet made the Synergy a yearly series after its first Camaro Synergy model, the 2010 Synergy Green special-edition car, became a success as it was highly accepted by consumers.
2011 Camaro Synergy Series model includes combination of interior and exterior parts unavailable to other production model. An example is the gray interior accentuated with red stitching. It was based on the show car exhibited at SEMA 2009, the Camaro Chroma.

Synergy Green was the only available color for the first Camaro Synergy that has a 6-cylinder engine but the 2011 edition will be available in four shades: Victory Red, Summit White, Black and Cyber Gray with 2SS and 2LT trims.

Scheduled for launch early 2012 is the newest addition to Chevrolet’s high performance Camaro series, the 2012 Camaro ZL1. Not only will the ZL1 be the fastest Camaro offered by Chevrolet, it will also be the most technologically advanced. Some of the new technologies incorporated in the new Camaro are electric power steering and magnetic ride control. The ZL1 was definitely built around the concept of enhanced performance.

High performance driving is what the ZL1 is all about. The LSA 6.2L V8 supercharged engine packs an estimated 550 horsepower for optimal performance on and off the track. The power of the ZL1 is matched with a highly developed chassis and the world’s fastest reacting suspension system. The ZL1’s updated body kit makes it stand apart from its Camaro predecessors. Its aerodynamic design increases down force for better handling.
All of the colors are available from previous models of the Camaro are available for the ZL1, but the interior only comes in black. Advanced technology is also evident in the instruments used. The ZL1 will come with a rear camera system with the display incorporated in the rear view mirror.
Chevrolet are still performing tests and further the improvements on the ZL1 and will release the official estimates of the cars capabilities in the later part of 2011.

The 2011 Chevrolet Mi-ray Roadster Concept lives up to the definition of its Korean name. The car is undoubtedly ultramodern in terms of design and capabilities.

Caterham Superlight R500

The 2008 Caterham Superlight R500 from the British sport scar manufacturer takes the minimalist light weight Seven philosophy to a new level with more power and sharper handling. The R500 Weighs 506kg and produces 263bhp with a heaving 177 lb per ft of torque transmitted to the rear wheels. The Series 3 chassis flagship model blasts out 520bhp per tonne and is capable of propelling itself from 0 to 60mph in 2.88 seconds.

Lurking under the light weight bonnet is the all alloy 2.0 liter Ford Duratec engine. Fed by its roller barrel throttle bodies, the normally aspirated, four-cylinder mill is tuned by Caterham Powertrain to unleash a monster. Carlsson CK63 RS based on Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG

The Mercedes Benz CLS has a strange vibe into it. With its swooping shape, it has managed to combine the defining characteristics of a sedan and a coupe all at the same time. A comprehensive aerodynamic package has been equipped with Carlsson in order to further accentuate the attractive lines of the CLS and also to improve its aerodynamic efficiency. A more aggressive presence is done using a front spoiler lip and black accents on the grille inserts. Additional aerodynamic equipment includes a discreetly shaped rear spoiler and a rear diffuser. This equips the car in preparation for its more powerful engine. The same 6.3 liter Mercedes Benz engine is upgraded with 2 turbochargers to increase output to 649 horsepower and 900 Nm of torque.
Body & Interior
Forged wheels are installed in this car, allowing for weight savings of up to 40 percent compared to a same sized wheel.
